We are proud and honoured to present this app for clinical dietitians. It contains a comprehensive collection of energy calculations and the ability to calculate tube feed drip rates from a list of formulas.
In addition, a dietitian can:
- Manipulate fat, protein, and carbohydrate distributions across custom calorie inputs.
- Fine tune drip rate and calorie results based on clinical judgement.
- Enter custom values or choose from an industry list for inputs like Activity Factor.
- Enter values that are ranges to see the low and high-end of results (e.g. 2000 - 2500 kCal).
A tube feed formula section allows you to:
- Compare and highlight nutritional values.
- Calculate nutritional values for custom calories.
- Search, favourite, and browse formulas.
- Quickly filter any list by name, calorie density, or protein content.
- Select a formula for use in drip rate calculations.
General app features:
- Allows rearrangement and selection of equations.
- Works completely offline (has no internet connection).
- Saves the last session's data so the app can be closed and reopened at any time.
- Supports a variety of interaction and navigation styles.
- Displays custom keyboards specific to each input.
The app has been developed in coordination with several dietitians to meet the practical needs of the job. It is designed to be quick to use and easy to refer to, and contains information sourced across many journal publications.

This app has been updated by Apple to use the latest Apple signing certificate.
- Improved animations and gesture control.
- Made Height dynamic in Ireton Jones.
- Made default kCals resettable.
- Fixed some bugs around auto-correcting invalid text.
Next updates will include:
- Ability to calculate flushes as part of the Tube Feeding calculations.
- More tube feed formulas.
- Details on equation references and resources.
